The BElgian government directly and indirectly funds groups that have alleged ties to the PFLP terror group.
During the 30th session of the UN Human Rights Council, a number of highly biased and politicized NGOs, which receive extensive funding from foreign governments, made false, distorted and unsubstantiated allegations, contributing to the international demonization of Israel.
A number of European funded Israeli NGOs mourn the establishment of the state of Israel as a Nakba and actively promote a Palestinian right of return, which, if implemented, would effectually mean the elimination of Israel as a Jewish state.
A network of NGOs and CSR companies are active in promoting boycott, divestment, and sanctions (BDS) campaigns in Europe, by lobbying institutions and corporations to divest from Israel.
Transparency regarding government funding for NGOs transcends partisan ideology, and is essential for ensuring the values of democracy and accountability.
