According to reports in Canadian newspapers, in April 2010 the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) ended funding for Mada al-Carmel, an Israeli-Arab NGO. In response, Mada al-Carmel filed suit against the Canadian government, alleging a “campaign” by NGO Monitor and the Israeli government.
