Turning Point: From Partition to Delegitimization- A conversation with Elliott Abrams on the 50th Anniversary of the Six Day War

Introductory remarks by Amb. Vivian Bercovici

This event is in celebration of 15 Years since the founding of NGO Monitor.

In 1947, 33 countries at the United Nations voted in favor of the Partition Plan, recognizing Israel’s right to form a nation state. Today we see a change in this narrative at the UN, in Parliaments across Europe, and on college campuses. How and why has this narrative changed? Prof. Steinberg, President of NGO Monitor, and Elliott Abrams, Senior Fellow for Middle Eastern studies at the Council on Foreign Relations, will discuss this change and ways to move forward. Vivian Bercovici, former Canadian Ambassador to Israel, will deliver opening remarks.
