Al-Mezan actively pursues a highly political anti-Israel agenda, while largely ignoring Palestinian terrorism. Its publications frequently promote false claims of Israeli war crimes and contribute to the erosion of the concept of universal human rights.
MECA rhetoric includes accusations of “genocide,” “apartheid,” “ethnic cleansing,” and “collective punishment,” as well as supporting a Palestinian “right of return.”
The Land Research Center has accused Israel of “apartheid,” “ethnic cleansing,” “Judaization,” “violating the very basic rights of humanity,” and “vicious violations.”
Features a BDS [boycotts, divestment and sanctions] section on its website, stating, “Grassroots Jerusalem strongly supports the global BDS call as a strategic tool to hold ‘Israel’ accountable for its oppression of the Palestinian people” (scare quotes in original), and calling on “every single person” to take “action and call on your respective governments and the companies benefitting from the occupation to end the countless violations of international and humanitarian law that they either perpetuate or passively support by standing idly by as the human rights of Palestinians are violated.”
A number of European funded Israeli NGOs mourn the establishment of the state of Israel as a Nakba and actively promote a Palestinian right of return, which, if implemented, would effectually mean the elimination of Israel as a Jewish state.
In advance of Israeli Independence Day, NGO Monitor has examined the roles of three Israeli NGOs that actively promote a "one-state" framework, which would mean the eradication of Israel as a Jewish state.
Trcaire is the official overseas development agency of the Catholic Church in Ireland. Funders include Irish Aid (Government of Ireland). Its programs reflect a one-sided agenda, including the "campaign on the illegal Wall" and its reporting on Gaza. Partners include Badil, PCHR, Zochrot, and Medical Aid for Palestinians. During the Gaza operation, Trcaire called for "the suspension of EU-Israel Association Agreement." Officials accuse Israel of "systematic oppression and domination by one racial group over another to maintain a regime."
