On November 29, 2022, Al-Haq published yet another antisemitic screed dedicated to denying the Jewish people sovereign equality, by defining Zionism and the State of Israel as inherently illegitimate.
Habitat International Coalition (HIC) is “an independent international nonprofit Coalition of organisations and individuals working in the field of human settlement.” The highly politicized HIC-MENA website disseminates thinly veiled anti-Israel propaganda.. Blatant anti-Israel articles appear in its news section and documents section.
On November 21, NGO Monitor sent a letter to High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy/Vice-President of the EU Commission regarding his usage of DCI-P as a credible source.
On November 17, 2022, Professor Gerald M Steinberg wrote a letter to the President of the UN Human Rights Council regarding the the public hearings of the Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem, and Israel (“COI” or “Commission”) that took place in Geneva from 7-11 November.
This report provides representative examples of the activities of major Samidoun chapters and key activists in Europe and North America. This includes supporting the PFLP and its members, justifying the use of violence, and incitement against the state of Israel.
For three days, the UN’s permanent Commission of Inquiry (COI) against Israel conducted hearings ostensibly to investigate whether Israel was justified in designating seven Palestinian NGOs as terror organizations, due to their links to the PFLP. In practice, this was a forum for Commission members and NGO representatives to join in attempts to silence NGO Monitor's independent research.
On November 7-11, 2022, the UN Human Rights Council’s permanent “Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem, and in Israel” (COI) held public hearings. Three out of the seven NGOs who appeared at the hearings used them as a platform to defame NGO Monitor in retaliation for its role in exposing the aforementioned terror links.
According to its website, RLS “focuses on strengthening democratic elements of civil society” and “promotes alternative education based on the principles of democracy, social justice, absence of violence and peaceful regional and international cooperation.” In contrast to these stated moral objectives, funding is provided to highly politicized anti-Israel NGOs including Zochrot, Applied Research Institute Jerusalem (ARIJ), Bisan, and Combatants for Peace (CFP). The Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS, a branch of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs) provides millions of euros to highly politicized non-governmental organizations (NGOs) that promote anti-Israel narratives, lawfare, and BDS (boycott, divestment, and sanctions) campaigns. Some of these organizations have ties to the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), a terrorist organization designated as such by the US, EU, Canada, and Israel.
The government of the Netherlands provides millions of euros annually to political NGOs active in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The funds are transferred directly through government entities (MFA, Embassy in Tel Aviv, Representative Office in Ramallah) and the Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law Secretariat (the “Secretariat”), and indirectly via NGOs that receive government support.
