An analysis of Swiss direct and indirect funding of politicized NGOs active in the Arab-Israeli conflict.
NGOs have already begun to exploit the three significant anniversaries related to the Arab-Israeli conflict, which will be marked in 2017. NGO Monitor estimates that these efforts will intensify as the respective anniversaries draw near, and activists will use them to lend artificial urgency and resonance for their agendas.
As in previous years, many politicized NGOs and charities are exploiting the Christmas season to promote anti-peace campaigns.
Sabeel Colorado, a branch of the pro-BDS NGO Sabeel, is currently promoting its upcoming trip to Israel, which will meet with several Israeli NGOs.
Bassem Tamimi, a Palestinian from the village of Nabi Saleh, is going on a speaking tour in the US from September - October 2015, sponsored by a number of highly biased and politicized NGOs active in the Arab-Israeli conflict.
Sabeel is a major actor in the effort to convince Christian denominations to support BDS against Israel in North America, Europe, Australia, and elsewhere.
