- Sponsored a two-day conference (March 28-29, 2014) in Philadelphia, titled, “The Role of the US in Israel-Palestine: Current Realities & Creative Responses.” The conference, sponsored by Friends of Sabeel-North America (FOSNA), sought to “galvanize advocacy for justice in Israel-Palestine” by featuring workshops promoting boycotts, divestment and sanctions (BDS) campaigns and the Kairos Palestine Document.
- Amos Trust leads a campaign “Taking [its] base from Kairos Palestine and their 2009 call to action A Moment of Truth and its UK response A Time for Action and the Palestinian Liberation Theology of Sabeel Jerusalem” to “denounce apartheid in Israel and Palestine and to promote non-violent resistance strategies such as Boycott, Sanctions and Divestment and Morally Responsible Investment.”
- Published, together with Misereor, the aid framework of the Catholic Church in Germany, a 2014 guide purporting to promote “fair tourism in Israel and Palestine taking into account international law.” The guide dedicates a chapter to the Kairos Palestine Document, titled “Pilgrimage of Change” (p. 10, NGO Monitor translation).
- In 2010, CPT “affirm[ed] the words of Palestinian Christian leaders in their Kairos Document” and “recommend[ed] that members of our constituency review the following resources, so they can better understand the context from which the BDS movement has arisen.”
- In August 2016, Church of Sweden sponsored a “Kairos Palestine summer camp” aimed at “ramping up the pressure on Israel by increasing the Church’s support of and participation in the BDS movement.”
- In April 2016, Reverend John L. McCullough, President and CEO of Church World Service signed an “Atlanta Summit of Churches in the USA and the Holy Land” Document titled “Pursuing Peace and Strengthening Presence,” which “Encourage[d] reference to the Kairos Palestine message as an established initiative.”
- In April 2016, Warren Clark, then CMEP Executive Director, signed the “Atlanta Summit of Churches in the USA and the Holy Land” Document titled “Pursuing Peace and Strengthening Presence.”
- EAPPI’s core publication, “Faith Under Occupation” recommended to “Reach out to Christian religious leaders and ask them to act based on the Kairos Palestine Document.”
- JAI “networks with local advocacy organizations, runs the Olive Tree Campaign, promotes the Kairos Palestine Document and the Boycott-Divestment-Sanctions (BDS) Campaign, to enhance international advocacy work with partners and activists.”

- Advisory board member Jan Pronk was a guest speaker at the “Hour of Truth,” a conference aimed at promoting the Kairos Palestine Document.

- Sadaka’s 2013 “Churches for Justice Speaking Tour” had the key focus of “the continued promotion of Kairos Palestine amongst this constituency.”
- United Church of Canada (UCC)
- In 2010, heads of the United Church of Christ (UCC) and the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) praised the Kairos Palestine Document as “powerful,” and encouraged members to “Commit to read and study the ‘Message of Hope’.”
- In 2012, the General Council of The United Church of Canada joined “in supporting the end of Israel’s decades-old military occupation of Palestinian territories by approving a focused economic action against products made in illegal Israeli settlements. This step responded to the spirit of the historic “Kairos Palestine” ecumenical call from Palestinian Christians” (emphasis added).
- In August 2019, UCC will lead a “Youth for Peace Pilgrimage to Palestine and Israel” to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Kairos Palestine Document.
- In 2014, Rev. Paul Gehrs, current member of Kairos Canada, a “joint venture ecumenical program administered by the United Church of Canada,” participated in the 5th Anniversary Conference of the Kairos Palestine Document.
- Wi’am’s Women Coordinator Lucy Talgieh is one of the authors of the Kairos Palestine Document.
- In December 2014, Wi’am director Zoughbi Zoughbi participated in Kairos Palestine’s 5th Anniversary conference “Life with Dignity”in a panel titled “Kairos – Tolerance and Religious Extremism Abuse of religious threat to perpetrate violation of laws and values.”
- The WCC is a central promoter of the Kairos Palestine Document.
- In December 2014, Robert O. Smith, co-moderator of Palestine-Israel Ecumenical Forum (PIEF), spoke at Kairos Palestine’s conference “Life with Dignity” saying that “The message is loud and clear: Kairos Palestine is a thundering declaration that Palestinian Christians refuse to accept all forms of oppression, both explicit and subtle. Israeli occupation is a sin against God and humanity” (emphasis added).
