Dear Editor,

In his January 19 article, Why Human Rights Watch Is Urging Companies to Pull Out of Israeli Settlements, author Karl Vick failed to disclose a major conflict of interest: Mr. Vick’s wife has worked for HRW, the central focus of this article, and has provided public relations for the BDS-oriented Corrie Foundation, a group with many ties to the topic at hand.

We recommend Time amend the article to inform its readers of this and suggest that Mr. Vick refrain from publishing promotional pieces in Time for Human Rights Watch in the future.
