As in previous years, many politicized NGOs and charities are exploiting the Christmas season to promote anti-peace campaigns.
During the 30th session of the UN Human Rights Council, a number of highly biased and politicized NGOs, which receive extensive funding from foreign governments, made false, distorted and unsubstantiated allegations, contributing to the international demonization of Israel.
NGOs with stated human rights agendas, who are generally extremely vocal regarding the Arab-Israeli conflict, have avoided condemning the recent terrorist attacks against Israeli citizens, instead focusing only on the Israeli response to such attacks.
During the 29th session of the UNHRC, a number of highly politicized NGOs submitted oral and written statements and held side events, falsely accusing Israel of war crimes, crimes against humanity, and intentionally targeting the civilian population, thereby contributing to the international demonization campaign.
Yitzhak Santis asserts that the political warfare attacks against Israel this Christmas season were made possible by extensive governmental funding of highly politicized NGOs.
