NGO Monitor Letter to Robin Wettlaufer, Canadian representative to the Palestinian Authority
Dear Ms. Wettlaufer,
Please find attached a letter from NGO Monitor concerning Canadian support for the Union of Agricultural Work Committees (UAWC)- a Palestinian NGO with ties to the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) terrorist organization.
Crucially, two leading UAWC officials are currently standing trial for their alleged role in an August 2019 bombing that killed an Israeli teenager.
Described in the letter are previous instances of Canadian funding to the group, as well as the possibility that Canadian taxpayer dollars are still being provided to UAWC via UN frameworks.
