NGO Monitor research has uncovered that the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) – an internationally designated terrorist organization – has substantial ties to at a number European-funded Palestinian NGOs. Research shows that, in some cases, the NGOs were founded by the PFLP itself. In others, PFLP members serve as staff, on the boards, and in key decision making and financial roles at the NGOs. These include Addameer, Al-Dameer, Defense for Children International – Palestine (DCI-P), Health Work Committees (HWC), Palestinian Center for Human Rights (PCHR), Palestinian NGO Network (PNGO), Samidoun, Union of Agricultural Work Committees (UAWC), Union of Health Work Committees (UHWC), and Union of Palestinian Women Committees (UPWC).
A 17-year-old Palestinian who was killed on March 27 has ties to the Palestinian NGO Palestinian Medical Relief Society (PMRS) and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) terrorist organization.
The EU and many European countries fund a network of organizations, some of which are directly affiliated with the PFLP, and others with a substantial presence of employees and officials linked to the PFLP.
The Palestinian non-governmental organization (NGO) Addameer published “The Israeli Military Court System.” This report claims to present a number of faults with the Israeli justice system in the West Bank and implies that Israeli courts do not have the right to prosecute Palestinians committing acts of terrorism. The report goes on to make a number of false legal claims regarding the implementation of law and the Israeli military courts in the West Bank – emblematic of the NGO’s contextually, factually, and legally misleading campaigns.
