Ares(2016)1779572 – RE: Request of Information B’ Tselem project

Dear Mr Sacks,

The EU Financial Transparency System (FTS) does not list B’Tselem for the grant contract “Writing Wrongs: Restoring Justice and Dignity to Victims of Torture” because this information was missing in the Commission accounting database which is the source of data available in FTS.

The missing information has meanwhile been encoded in 2015.

When the FTS system will be updated – in June this year – to include data from 2015, the information about B’Tselem will appear.

The EU Financial Transparency System (FTS) does not list B’Tselem as a partner of Hamoked “”Writing Wrongs: Restoring Justice and Dignity to Victims of Torture”, which started on 01/09/2013 and will end on 31/08/2016.””

In the Project data base only HAMOKED is listed as recipient, not B’Tselem.

There are multiple instances of projects with multiple recipients and partners where all recipients and partners are listed on the FTS.
Why is the information about B’Tselem missing?
