The European Legal Support Center (ELSC) was jointly founded by the Rights Forum, the Palestinian NGO Network (PNGO), and European jurists as an initiative aimed at “defending individuals and organizations that face false and defamatory accusations of antisemitism and repression because of their support for Palestinian rights and particularly for BDS measures to achieve these rights.”
The Jerusalem-based research institute analyzed the 56-page report; highlights parroting of terror-linked NGOs, distortion of facts and figures, and an attack on civil society organizations critical of the COI.
The UN Human Rights Council COI published its third report purporting to investigate “attacks, restrictions and harassment of civil-society actors.”
The Palestine Solidarity Campaign is a leader and chief proponent of BDS and anti-Israel campaigns in the UK, which frequently invoke the “apartheid” libel.
Rights Forum is a Dutch organization, established by former Dutch Prime Minister Andreas van Agt, which describes itself as a “knowledge center on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and as a network of previous ministers and jurists that are committed to a solution of the conflict based on international law.” Claims that it was created in response to alleged “unwavering” Dutch support for alleged Israeli violations of international law. It lobbies the Dutch government and the EU to promote the Palestinian agenda.
Each year around May 15, the network of anti-Israel NGOs) marks the "Nakba" to describe the establishment of the State of Israel. This year, many of the NGO events reference the 75th anniversary of 1948 in promoting divisive campaigns
On April, 3, 2023, Human Rights Watch and its NGO allies circulated a letter ostensibly directed to the UN Secretary-General, urging the UN to reject the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) working definition of antisemitism.
On May 31, 2022, Palestinian NGO Al-Haq, along with 90 co-signatories, submitted a flagrantly antisemitic report to the UN's permanent Commission of Inquiry presenting a blatantly false historical account, denying Israel’s right to exist and denying the Jewish people their right to sovereign equality.
The 50th Session of the UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC), held in June 2022, perpetuated the bias and hypocrisy that has come to define the UNHRC specifically and the United Nations in general. Several statements made during the session by NGO officials, many of which receive large portions of their funding from European governments, promoted the apartheid canard and advocated for BDS.
