Platform of French NGOs for Palestine is a network active in supporting and promoting BDS (boycott, divestment, and sanctions) campaigns against Israel and lobbying the French government, using French taxpayer funds.
Although La Cimade claims that it acts in “the framework of peace construction,” its activities include support for BDS (boycott, divestment, and sanctions) campaigns against Israel and other delegitimization efforts.
LDH supports BDS campaigns against Israel. LdH claims that “it supports the boycott of products from the occupied territories…it supports divestment and sanctions against Israel…it has campaigned against the economic agreement between the EU and Israel, [but it] does not support the boycott of the Israelis (university boycott, cultural, artistic, scientific) except if it is specifically argued (field of weapons for example).”
MSF consistently abuses its status as a humanitarian organization to launch venomous anti-Israel political campaigns.
FIDH is a Paris-based federation of 141 NGOs from 92 countries with consultative or observer status with several international bodies. In its mission statement, FIDH seeks to contribute to the respect of all the rights defined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. While claiming to be strict and impartial in its work, FIDH shows a strong anti-Israel bias by focusing disproportionate resources on condemning Israel, selectively interpreting international humanitarian law, dismissing the context of terrorism, largely ignoring Israeli victims of terror, and denying Israels right to self-defense. FIDH receives funding from international and national bodies and foundations, but it does not disclose the sources of its funding
France provides millions of Euros to French, Palestinian, and Israeli non-governmental organizations (NGOs). Direct funding to these NGOs is transferred from the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development (MAEDI) through L'Agence Française de Développement (AFD – French Agency for Development), the Consulate General of France in Jerusalem (The Consulate), and French regional governments.
