France provides millions of Euros to French, Palestinian, and Israeli non-governmental organizations (NGOs). Direct funding to these NGOs is transferred from the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development (MAEDI) through L'Agence Française de Développement (AFD – French Agency for Development), the Consulate General of France in Jerusalem (The Consulate), and French regional governments.
The Jerusalem Legal Aid and Human Rights Center (JLAC) is highly active in promoting BDS campaigns, lobbying international bodies, and utilizing highly inflammatory rhetoric.
Ireland, via its program for overseas development Irish Aid, provides millions of euros through direct and indirect funding processes to politicized non-governmental organizations (NGOs) operating in Ireland, Israel, the West Bank, and Gaza.
AMP provides “advocacy training” including instruction on how to lobby politicians, and produces media and activism guidebooks, such as campus activism resources including fact-sheets, anti-normalization material, and Power Point presentations that parrot the Hamas narrative of the 2014 Israeli-Hamas conflict in Gaza, claiming that “Palestinian resistance was born out of the occupation and the siege, plain and simple.”
ARIJ is among the leaders of the political warfare against Israel, seeking to further boycotts, divestment and sanctions (BDS), false accusations of Israeli “apartheid” and “racism,” and support for a Palestinian “right of return”, which is inconsistent with two-state solution.
LDH supports BDS campaigns against Israel. LdH claims that “it supports the boycott of products from the occupied territories…it supports divestment and sanctions against Israel…it has campaigned against the economic agreement between the EU and Israel, [but it] does not support the boycott of the Israelis (university boycott, cultural, artistic, scientific) except if it is specifically argued (field of weapons for example).”
