Palestinian Agricultural Relief Committees (PARC)

- Website: www.pal-arc.org
- PARC states that it works "in the field of rural development, environment protection, and women empowerment...[to] offer technical assistance and support...[and] aim[s] to significantly contribute to the building of a Palestinian democratic and civil society."
- Partners and Supporters of PARC include Christian Aid, Oxfam (Belgium), ACDI-VOCA, Swedish Palestine Solidarity Group, Diakonia (Germany), Fide (Spain) and the Heinrich Boll Foundation (Germany). Governments funding source include the European Commission, NORAD, NOVIB (Netherlands Organization for International Development Cooperation, the Swiss Representative Office, the French Consul and DANIDA (Denmark).
- PARC supports boycott and divestment campaigns - it was signatory for the AUT's academic boycott of Israeli universities and also endorsed the ECCP "Call for Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions against Israel." PARC also engages in political lobbying activities which have included political appeals to European governments regarding the status of Jerusalem.PARC actively campaigns to demonize Israel. It is a co-organiser of the "Apartheid Wall Campaign" (Stop the Wall), and argues that Israel has invented a security threat to its people in order to " spread out its control over the whole region." Ignoring the context of terrorism, PARC claims that "the wall reflects Israel's fears of the emerging democracies and peace trends in the region." PARC also makes unsubstantiated claims such as alleging that the IDF have committed massacres and the attribution of domestic violence against women in Palestinian society to, among other causes, "the violent occupation."
